I'm visting Manhattan in November. It'll be my first visit for a for a couple of years so I'm a bit out of touch and would appreciate some recommendations.
I want at least one multi-course blowout, much like the tasting menu I had at Lespinasse a few years ago. Presumably the candidates are places like Ducasse, Daniel and Le Bernadin ?
I've enjoyed Gramercy Tavern in the past and wondered if Craft whether was as enjoyable. Also, having had great BBQ in Texas does Blue Smoke come up to scratch ? The dbBurger also sounds like something I would enjoy.
I've heard about some new restaurants : Above 21 and WD-50, does anyone know when they'll be opening ?
Finally, if I can fit it in, is there anywhere that does a good plateau de fruits de mer ?
PS Meanwhile my search for the perfect Dry Martini goes on, any surefire bets ???
