My husband and I (we're in our mid-30s, if that matters) will spend one night in Wilmington, NC at the end of the month and are looking for a few tips. The Chowhounds have never steered us wrong in our travels before, so we're hoping for you're help again.
First, we're trying to find a great B&B that serves an impressive breakfast. There are two places in our price range that look good and we wonder if any of the Chowhounds can help us with our decision.
Second, we've been told there is a local wine or liqueur that is amazing and sold in Wilmington shops, but we weren't able to get any details beyond that. Anyone have any idea what this might be? The friend who suggested it is traveling and "off the grid" for the next two weeks.
And, of course, we'll take any and all recommendations for lunch, dinner and drink (we like cozy, casual and somewhat healthy) -- or even a terrific local snack -- options, though it seems like there are plenty 'round these boards!
