Last night I had a fantastic NZ beer from a brewery called 8 Wired. It was called Saison Sauvin, and as the name indicates it was in the saison style, hopped with Nelson Sauvin hops. It was a really well made saison, with the phenols well under control, and that great floral/citrus punch from the Nelson hops.
I have yet to try a beer made with these hops that I don't like. Anchor Humming ale, Alpine Nelson IPA, and Schneider's special release of a Nelson-hopped weizen.
I'm looking for other recommendations for beers made with this hop variety. Any suggestions?
