Hey, I'm going to the Outer Banks for the first time and I'm looking for NC-style whole hog barbecue. I found the following barbecue joints so far:
High Cotton (looks like the best option)

BJ's Carolina Café
Please let me know which place does NC-style whole hog barbecue the best (if at all) and/or if somewhere's noteworthy for any other smoked meat? Smoked tuna at Pigman's sounds worth a try. Feel free to suggest somewhere not on the list or on the way into town (from New Jersey). I am a barbecue freak, I'll go out of my way for the real deal. Thanks in advance!
