I'm on your heels Ike!
I have been to San Francisco before, not my first visit. Here's the deal: I am travelling with a rather middle of the road "give me a steak" customer.
(We will be staying at The Monaco - on Geary)
I like everything, he does not. I once took him to Masa's and had the chef tasting menu. I don't think he has forgiven me yet!
I have control f searched the Union Square posts and have seen Anjou, Ponzu (he would hate it)and others. I have also scrolled the "1st visit to SF" posts. I feel stuck.
Where can I go so he can have his steak but I can explore an interesting menu? I would rather walk but a cab ride is fine too.
As an aside, someone reccomended Postrio's to me , not as a geographic (union Square) rec. but as a general one. Any thoughts on Postrio's?
We will have 2 nights, Oct. 21st and 22nd.
