After all the buzz, I just had to try it out. I wanted to like it and went there very hungry. Aside from the great service, everything else was just ok.
For starters, we had the grilled octopus salad and the octopus was bland and rubbery. The tripe soup was ok, but again bland. The one appetizer standout was the fried feta rolls -- crispy, a bit on the salty side, but overall great.
The adana kebabs were a disappointment (had much better at Kazan and Sahara). The doner kebab was dried and almost jerky like -- we asked for yoghurt sauce, which helped.
Desserts (quince and pistachio pies) were good, but not great.
Pity, I was really looking forward to it.
