walking along broadway, i had seen a small advertisement for a place I'd never seen before- MUNDO-(which means world in spanish) this was 32nd street between broadway and 34th ave. We decided to try it out- the place was about as small as my dorm room- yet- extremely cozy-all 10-15? tables were full and we waited 2 minutes for one of the owners to clean a table for us.
As we walked in, we noticed the atmosphere was pleasant-the music was in multiple languages, and it smelled really good -there were little shoes hanging from the ceiling- still dont know what that was for- ANYWAY-lets get to the food:
we ordered Dakos as the salad- fresh greens with feta cheese-- amazing. for main course, i ordered Milanesa?-- well it was friend chicken cutlets with fries- a very good sized meal and verrrrry tasty. My boyfriend ordered Shrimp Caserole? ( i suck at remembering names)- also extremely tasty. Everything was fresh and very good. There were only 2 servers but they were very nice, and hyper for the most part- always coming around to make sure everythign was ok. It was great. Finally desert came- I had the Pasha Mundo- semolina balls in vanilla creme-- WOW, and my boyfriend ordered the tiramisu- can i just say- that realllly ended our dinner with a bang- The totAl for all this was 48 dollars without tip. Cash Only- but that wasn't a big problem. It was defintely worth it and we're Definetely going back-- Just wanted to share the wealth ;)
