I went there for lunch today and left very happy with my experience. The waiter, Ryan, was very friendly and gave good service.

I had one of the lunch specials, a salmon burger for $7. It came with salad or fries for an extra dollar. Trying to eat better these days, I asked for half salad half fries, which he accommodated, for an extra $0.50 - very fair.

The food arrived piping hot on the patio (too bad there is no sun exposure at lunch time). The salmon burger was basic, garnished with tomatoes, lettuce, dill pickle and red onion. I found it a little odd that there was no sauce on it, but ate it as is and it was very tasty, and, best of all, non greasy! The salad was the classic iceberg lettuce, tomato and onion, but it was fine. I asked for oil and vinegar on the side and was happy to get balsamic and olive oil. The fries were tasty, like they had been lightly seasoned.

I told Ryan that it was great to have a meal that did not feel greasy (unlike at most bars I've eaten at) and he told me that everything is baked or grilled because they do not have a deep fryer - so much the better!

All in all, my bill came to under $10.
