So, I got headhunted by an ad agency, moved up here in a rush, and found myself a place smack-dab in the middle of Chinatown. I am literally above New Green Bo.
I love my adopted neighborhood -- nothing gets the blood going like slipping in fish guts as I step out the door and head to work. I love the fact I can get duck-web soup, and GOOD duck-web soup, I might add, at 2 in the morning.
I like that there is a great Karaoke bar just down the street with a midget bouncer.
All of this is exactly what I was looking for, when I moved here from Atlanta. But. I have now eaten at just about every place south of Canal -- well, not every -- I have only been here a week. But, like, a lot of the places you are 'supposed' to eat.
So, yeah. I am getting a little tired of Chinese is all. I was wondering if anyone here has any advice -- I'll eat the hell out of just about anything -- but I work long hours and need something close to where I am...
Wow. Sorry for the epic first post.
