I currently live in Cobble Hill. As much as I like my beautiful street, the ices at Monte Leone's, and Ferdinando's, my apartment is just too expensive. I'd tell you my rent, but I don't want anyone to lose their lunch. I'm saving money, but not at the rate I feel I should.
I want to move to a place where: (1) my apartment is clean, nice and affordable, (2) there's plenty of good grub - any nationality (I'll eat anything that isn't moving or poisonous, and maybe moving if it's good enough), (3) there are decent food stores (going to miss Sahadi's and my Halal butcher) and (4) transportation to midtown Manhattan is feasible. Buses and subways are both good.
I've been thinking about Queens, somewhere on the seven line, or Brooklyn, somewhere on an express bus.
