So I looked up this place prior taking our day trip out to Half Moon Bay. I got that the general consensus was that it was overpriced with mediocre food. We drove on lovely HWY 1 and came across this place. Husband wanted to see if they had good beer there. We stopped despite my good judgment.
Turns out they don't brew anything on location. The food was overpriced and mediocre.
He had a sear ahi tuna appetizer, I had the seafood salad. His was nothing inspiring, a few pieces of seared tuna with simple soy dressing and shaved dikon and carrot salad. Mine was overcooked scallop, bay shrimp, and rubbery calamari topping field greens.
Another two pints of beer and an ice tea produced a bill of over $50.
I should have insisted we pass this horrid place.
