...drank all the Montepulciano d'Abruzzo which I normally use. The only other bottles of red I have in the house are Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec or Merlot. I don't want to open three wines to see which seems closest to the Montepulciano. LOL...but I will if I have to! Which of the three wines do you think is heartier, closer to the Montepulciano.
On a side not Hubby put the chocolate red wine we received as a gift where the Montepulciano normally lives. Arrrggghhhhh I would have killed him if I hadn't noticed and put that in my sauce. I may kill him anyway!
