Monday Eating Out in Toronto (city)

saltysweet | Oct 14, 2011 08:52 AM

Hi, a lot of places are closed on Mondays. I have a narrowed list of some of Lower Downtown/Below Queen St restaurants. Which one of these would you pick and why?

Scarpetta www.thompsonhotels.com/hotels/toronto...
Lee www.susur.com/lee/menus.html
Buca www.buca.ca/
Crush Wine Bar http://crushwinebar.com/
Tutti Matti www.tuttimatti.com
Vertical www.verticalrestaurant.ca/
Starfish www.starfishoysterbed.com/
Bymark www.bymark.ca/

If you know of a better place between say Bathurst and Church/ Front and Adelaide, and they are open on Mondays, please add.

Remember, this is a Monday. So it's about good food and good ambiance not necessarily blowing your bank account (hence why Canoe is not on the list). Also, Nota Bene is not here because we've both been. (same for Trevor, Brassai and Lucien - which was horrible).

Thanks! Your help is much appreciated!!
