So a while back striper guy suggested the following...
- Cassata whipped cream and riccotta with stregga-soaked sponge.
- Torrone and chocolate truffle bars the like of which I have seen (homemade) nowhere else.
- Densest, chocolatiest, nuttiest florentine cookies I have ever eaten.
- Riccota pie
- Lobster tail
- Sfogliatelle
- Hand made maripan fruit
- And more in the refrigerator case up front.
I'm off to the Modern for my first taste on Saturday after an afternoon of x-mas shopping. I don't like cannoli and probably can't even spell it. So, I'm leaning towards the truffle bars. But, what's not to be missed?
