My hubby leaves Monday for a fishing trip with our 17 year old son that will take him to Ucluelet (via Seattle, Tsawassen, and Namaino by Ferry). Most of their time will be spent trying to replenish our freezer and pantry (my kids loved canned and smoked salmon) for the year to come....but any suggestions I can pass on to hungry husband and hungrier son for either (a) very early breakfasts or (b) filling dinners? They will need a dinner and breakfast in Namaino, lunch somewhere between Seattle airport and Tsawassen, and the rest of their meals in Ucluelet or surroundings.....
My hubby doesn't eat beef and hates bland food.....and I'm afraid that he might be going into meat and potato country (well, actually, maybe its fish and potato country). Any ideas?
(Any ethnicity welcome. Bonus points for decent Indian or Thai).
