Had a pretty good dinner there. The first cut of beef I had was perfect: warm, but nearly raw and very tender. It just seemed to be beef and salt but was delicious.
Subsequent cuts varied; I tried asking for rare and ended up with cuts between medium rare and well done. Should have been more watchful of the meat on the skewer before saying "yes." (Hard to do when mouth is full.)
Roasted pork was also good, the one serving I got had a faintest tint of rose in the middle and crusty caramelized edges on the surface.
Lamb had a gently assertive lamb flavor, but was more cooked through than I prefer.
Sausage was plump, tender and salty.
Chicken hearts were......absent. They weren't serving them tonight. Bummer.
Nothing truly spectacular on the hot and cold buffet tables; although the lust-provoking rice was very fragrant (I could be wrong, but I'm guessing that it's flavored with lard or at least drippings of some sort).
Overall a fine deal; not achingly great but good and a fair value for money (for the buffet, check was $23 including tax and tip but no drinks).
