Mid-Trip Report: Chantecler

Thank you all again for your assistance with my first trip to Toronto. I have had some memorable food during my visit.

I will have more to report about the great food I have enjoyed but, for the time being, I wanted to commend the great care I received at Chantecler. Yes, of course, the food at Chantecler was first rate. That has been widely recorded here. Fried calamari with a tamarind and peanut sauce. And, a lettuce wrap of ground pork with dried oysters. But, what deserves special mention is that the sincere hospitality from the staff and kitchen made it extremely difficult to leave.

I hope to be back one day. In the meantime, I would urge Chantecler to keep it up. Of course, I suspect these are wasted words. They are not doing it upon anyone else's urging. It is plain as day that they love what they do.
