Ok - a rather odd challenge for midwest Chowhounders! I will be traveling along I-70 and hungry for lunch somewhere an hour or so west of Indianapolis.
The catch is I have celiac, which means nothing made with wheat flour -- no pasta, pizza, or breaded stuff... sadly ruling out many midwestern delicacies!
I love Mexican food, and since corn/cornmeal products are okay this is often an easy option. Or somewhere where we could get a big salad, something like that would be good. And any other advice you have would be great!
