I am now a bi-coastal foodie. I have been living in Boca Raton Fl. and recently bought a codo in Brentwood and will be there about eight months a year. I lived in L.A. for a time in the seventies and eighties, when I first became a foodie. I am amazed at some of the places still thriving. I went to Valentinos before it was on the map as well as Michaels, Chinois on Main,Chaya Brasserie ect. SO many places ahead of their time. Does anyone remember Muse. Enough Nostalgia. My question is does anyone remember Labarbarras in West L.A. on whilshire. As a pizza fanatic, I remember their crust as very unique. I just can't believe someone would not have duplicated the crust. It would be a dream come true. Also are there any ding clubs around. I would love to meet new food friends.
