Meltdown Popsicles

Meltdown Popsicles, an operation that was previously an ice cream truck, has opened a shop on Dumaine St. in the Quarter. The fruit options are varied and sometimes exotic (and vegan, according to the sign), with such options as coconut lychee, strawberry basil, lemon basil, lemon ginger, blueberry lemonade, pineapple chili, and many others. There are also cream flavors (not vegan) like creamsicle, chocolate chili, chocolate mint, and a few others. I had a delicious blueberry lemonade this afternoon, and I can't wait to try lots of other flavors. They don't have a website as far as I can tell, but the shop is at 508 Dumaine. A perfect treat for a summer walk in the Quarter!
