Was in town for a visit the other day and found this new Gyro, "Greek Rotisserie" place in downtown crossing. Really really tasty gyro, not the ground meat kind but the layered meat on a spit kind. They have chicken and original which is lamb, beef and pork. What is special though is these fresh made flatbreads that they serve them on. I just thought they were a tasty addition to Downtown Crossing and if I were still working downtown, I'd be stopping by.
We went to Chinatown to try our first Bahn Mi. Thankfully it lived up to the hype, really interesting with that wonderful freshness from the veggies that Vietamese food has. Was surprised though that they were everywhere, its a craze, isn't it!
Just read that review on Istanbul Cafe... I miss Boston :)
