New (to me) meat market

If any San Antonio, Boerne, Kerrville 'hounds are looking for a great place to buy good steaks, try the Tri County Meat Market. Located 4 miles east
of I-10 on Ralph Fair Rd. Go past the red light and turn right into that small strip mall. Ask for Simon and he will show you all the goodies. I'm sick of plain old supermarket meat and don't like the idea of the water injection at Costco ( is that really true?). A friend of a friend told me about
Tri County and I tried the 2-inch bone-in rib eye (some call it the Cowboy Steak). Delicious. DH cooked it on the new Weber and we had
a feast. They also have veal (frozen) and Simon says a new "lamb man" will supply any cut wanted or a whole lamb for your "roast". He says they also have a source for whole pig, if that's your roasting pleasure. I'm definitely going to get one of those for our FridayNightFestivities group. Should be a ball.
