Meat Class Itinerary Suggestions

Some of you may remember my Chinese Food 101 class of a couple years back. This year my spring intraterm course is on MEAT! Much of it is mapped out at this point, but I could still use suggestions. I'd love ideas for:

1. Places to visit when I have a ? in the schedule.

2. Someplace to grab lunch on the way to Avedano's from Vacaville. Or should we get sandwiches at Avedano's? Cannot take long -- we are cutting it close on Tuesday. Could do Boccalone at Ferry Building, but we are driving huge, hard to park vans.

3. Quick food between Tomales and Bolinas Friday morning. Food between Bolinas and Oakland on Friday afternoon.

4. Way to squeeze in bacon donuts from Dynamo. Anyone do the reverse commute and feel like delivering donuts to Oakland? It would be great to have them for the drive on Tuesday or Friday.

9:00 – 10:00 Discussion of readings
10:30 Pozole Surtido, Menudo, and Lengua Tacos at Taco Grill
12:00 – 3:00 Sausage Class w/ Ryan Farr at La Cocina

Thursday, April 1:
9:00 – 10:00 ??
10:00 – 1:00 Oliveto—Film, Beef Program, Kitchen Visit, Salumi Demo, Lunch (still nailing down time)
1:00 -- 3:00 ??

Friday, April 2:
9:00 – 10:00 Clark Summit Farm (Tomales)
10:15 Food?
11:00 – 1:00 BN Ranch (Bolinas)
1:00 – 3:00 More food on way back to Oakland? Possibly BBQ at T-Rex?
