It is located on 19th between Market and Chestnut. There is no sign so you have to look closely. I am used to eating at Little Pete's or Square on Square so value is very important to me. I tend not to eat at places like Rouge or even Loie that charges 9 bucks for a house glass of wine. With that in mind, I had two appetizers and my wife had an entree. The bill was $40.00. If that does not seem like a good deal of money to you, then eat there immediately. The food was delicous. The menu was very unusual but I suspect that it will not interest enough people to keep the resturant busy. I started off with a warm spinach salad with a mushroom vinegarette and melted cheese and portabello mushroom. The flavors were robust and quite intense. Perhaps a little too much cheese. The presentation was beautiful as were all the dishes. My wife had lamb shank with mashed potatoes. The lamb fell off the bone. Again the flavors were very robust. She is usually very picky and rarely eats anything except pasta but really enjoyed her entree. I had two way duck which was a duck mousse and a duck rosette(sic). My duck had very powerful flavors.
What struck me was how robust and powerful all the flavors were and how beautifully it was all presented. We really enjoyed it and when we feel like spending 40 dollars again, we will go back.
