It seems like a couple years ago you could cruise into Ralphs or Pavillions and always find the pre-cooked Langostino tails at a really good price, pretty delish too. Now, you can't find any kind of langostino anywhere. I've also heard them called Chillean Prawns.
I see them occasionaly whole in shell at high-end Italian restaurants so it's not like they don't exist. But where can the average home cook find these beauties? Any ideas?
