Marathon and V-Day Weekend Help Please

My girlfriend and I are heading to New Orleans next weekend for the marathon and valentine's day. We were hoping to get some advice. We want to try to avoid tourist traps for sure. Money is not an issue. We are looking for some place special on Friday night. Someplace very New Orleans. Doesn't have to be 'fancy'. Saturday brunch we have no idea. We will play that by ear. Saturday dinner will be relaxed since the race is the next morning. Based on a friend's rec we were thinking of a drink at the columns hotel and then dinner at La Crepe Nanou. Sunday post-race brunch we want to eat somewhere greasy and delicious and very very casual (we will still have our running gear on). The race shuttle will drop us off at Payodras and St Charles so someplace near there. Sunday night we are going out with a friend who lives there so we are in her capable hands. Monday lunch/brunch will be our valentine's day celebration so someplace romantic and special.

These are just a few of the restaurants that have caught my eye searching through these boards but we are open to others. To be honest the choices are a bit overwhelming. Everything sounds so good!
Cochon
Herbsaint
Green Goddess
Boucherie
Galatoire's

Oh, my girlfriend does not eat meat but it seems like she will have good choices at most places. Any and all advice is much appreciated!
