Where to start. First of all, the things I sampled (there are a lot of samples on the counter) were all ranging from good to off the map outstanding.

I sampled an orange almond cake that was so good that when I left, stuffed with samples, I still had to buy one. I also tried a very chocolatey and fudgy chocolate bundt cake and a quite decent marble cake (which may have suffered only because I was so crazy about the other two).

The owner is exceptionally nice., In addition to pressing samples on all of us (including a crowd of 8th graders from the local boys' school, who put away an impressive number!) she spent a lot of time talking to us about her ingredients, her ideas for the shop, etc.

There is also good coffee, with a variety of milks (almond, soy, chalav yisroel, etc.) and a bar to drink it at. It's decorated as an old fashioned bakeshop. Cute. Got a mini-review in NYT this past Wednesday.
