I had lunch at the Haliimaile General Store in Maui today. The best crab and shrimp cake ever, crowning a pool of mango tartar sauce that was amazing. so I am now obsessed with tartar sauce and would like to reproduce this at home so I can clog my arteries at will. I think that it involved more than adding pureed mango to the tartar sauce... there was something else sweet in there too. any tips, suggestions, recipes?
