hey guys -
i am a long time lover of the staple korean dumpling soup, mandoo kook. sometimes it comes with slices of rice cake, but most often it is a pretty spare, pure affair. egg, small, thin slices of beef, inch long pieces of green onion. obviously the quality of the mandoo makes a big difference, anyone have a favorite place? i've been getting it at hodori and nakwon in koreatown, but honestly it doesn't even compare to the kind i used to eat in hawaii.
