Founded In 1957 by a "Mah Cheh" (a former Cantonese maid-servant recognizable by her long pig-tail, a characteristic of her community), this wantan noodle outlet is also known as "Mah Cheh wantan noodle" to local Malaccans.
Its official name "Tua Kor" or Eldest Paternal Aunt is because the noodle stall is currently run by her nephew and his wife.
Tua Kor wantan noodles have the perfect al dente texture, and very addictive when drizzled over with their homemade chilli paste - tasty!
The noodles are topped with "char-siu" (Chinese-style BBQ pork), shredded chicken and minced pork-shrimp-filled wantan dumplings. Both were not particularly outstanding.
