Maine shrimp season is upon us, and I've never cooked it before...
I was thinking of creating a red sauce, using shallots, garlic and rosemary as my base, seasoned with pepper, balsamic vinegar, Marzano tomatoes and white truffle oil...
I planned on cooking the shrimp and peas in the sauce and was considering steaming (and then mixing in the sauce artichoke hearts and leaves...) I'm open to any suggestions / variations.
Also - any thoughts on a pasta for this?
