Anyone else tried this yet?

We went a couple weeks ago and loved it. It's an Irish pub in a renovated bank building right across from the Hippodrome. The interior is charming and huge. Lots of features retained from the bank i.e. a bank vault that can be used as a private dining room, an original spiral staircase, old bank teller windows incorporated into a huge bar.

And the food is excellent! Food snob that I am, I wasn't expecting much, but I was very pleasantly blown away. The chef (Steve) last worked at Brewer's Art, I believe.

Some features:
--smoked salmon (made on the premises)
--cheese plate featuring Irish cheeses
--fish and chips (the batter was so light and the fish so flavorful)
--lamb stew
--corned beef and cabbage (sounds a little boring but Steve really brings life to these old Irish favorites.)

And if you are adventurous there is a Guiness Float for desert - made with vanilla ice cream and guiness sorbet.

I heartily reccomend this place!!!
