Lunch at Uncle Petes

Went to Uncle Petes for lunch yesterday -glad to report that I love the new place in Revere - they brought the booths with them (I think). Parking is plentiful. I had the pulled pork sandwich - perfectly tender fall-apart, not over-sauced. Onion rings were fresh, crispy and addictive. The side of beans was a little sweeter than I like, but were tasty. Asian slaw - homemade, and really good. Also had the mango salsa appetizer - very nice with the chopped peanuts/cucumber/mango, etc. Such a unique salsa! Dining companions had beef ribs, and pork ribs. Both raved about their ribs and I saw the pink smoke ring on them. Pete's does their ribs right. The scary sweet potato rolls still come with the meal - and are still hard as rocks! Ha ha! Service is super friendly and efficient. There was 2 other tables there besides us at lunch.
