Lunch at Tasty Q

I had lunch at Tasty Q today. It is on Crenshaw about 3 block South of the 10 freeway. They had a lunch special for $6.00 that included 1 pork rib, 1 beef rib, 1 hot link, and 2 sides. I ordered cole slaw and BBQ beans. While I was waiting I also added Greens and Yams to the order. The ribs were tender, juicy and smokey..the illusive combination for good Q. The ribs had more meat on them than any 2 or 3 ribs elsewhere. I had the medium hot sauce. It had tang but was not killer hot. Beans were excellent with bits of meat and slaw was very good but probably not homemade. Greens were soggier that usual but I am not sure if that is a bad thing. Yams were heaven. While I was devouring my lunch they lady came by and brought me a Turkey neck. It was really good. I went up to the order window after I finished with my lunch to tell them how much I liked it. They wanted to know if I wanted a bag to take home the left-overs. I was ashamed to admit that I didn't leave even one crumb. They were shocked...I am 5'8" and 150 lbs. and this was enough food for 2 people. Needless to say I didn't need dinner tonite.
