As I posted below in a restaurant request, the boyfriend is coming into town in early January. Now, a new element has been added.. he's flying out with his parents, and will be landing at Ontario in time for lunch.
I'm not familiar with that area at all, not having ventured out in that general direction since, oh, high school sporting competitions at Webb.. I scanned posts below, but mainly dinner was mentioned, not lunch.
So what I need... something in the vicinity of Pomona College (where his sister goes, as she'll be joining us). A nice parent-y place. Cozy and warm atmosphere. Along the lines of Clementine/Doughboys/Old Town Bakery, if that's not too much to ask for. Good service. I expect they'll be rather tired and just want good, solid (but not necessarily heavy - the parents will be driving to San Diego afterwards) food. It doesn't have to be fancy, just satisfying. Bonus points for the place being easy to find, as we'll be in separate cars.
Thanks *so much in advance!
(As for the first-night dinner.. still dithering, now between Table 8 and Josie. Argh, the decisions..)
