I ate lunch at MiLA today, and it was excellent. It was a 20 dollar fixed price menu with 3 courses. Started with mirliton veloute with crawfish and lobster oil. It was one of the best soups I've ever had. Entree was quail with mushroom risotto with port reduction. Delicious. Chocolate mousse for dessert.
Free valet parking, good bread with softened butter and bean puree for spreading, service was excellent.
I can see why longbranch was such a highly rated restaurant even though I never made it over there. I'm glad these two have moved into the city. This is definitely one of the best new restaurants in town.
Unfortunately, the place was mostly empty. Spread the word.
