DH and I had a really fine lunch at the D'Amico restaurant Gather that has taken the place of 2021 at the Walker. Started from their non-alcoholic cocktail list, appreciated on at tropical, stormy day. I had the Melon Ball and he had the Nojito--both creative and refreshing. We shared a watermelon salad--again, a perfect seasonal dish combining sweet with salty, sour, and hot notes. My slow cooked salmon with farro salad was delicious, but DH's locally sourced (Edward's?) ham on baguette with wild mushrooms, poblano pepper and fried egg on top rendered us speechless. Really helpful server who obviously loves working there. Beautiful room.
