Ate there Friday with 2 other people.
1 complimentary tomato bruschetta per person.Two had the fried calamari app with spicy tomato sauce and some kind of mayo, I had the filet mignon seared carpaccio with arugula parm and blueberries. Carpaccio was pretty good but nothing special. Calamari were awesome and huge portions, next time 1 order would be enough for 2 people.
For mains we had: Seafood linguini with tomato red pepper sauce(scallops, clams, mussels and prawns), Veal chop with sauteed spinach and soft polenta, Chicken tagliatelli with wild mushrooms, spinach, sweet peppers and truffle oil(me). Best was the seafood pasta with the shellfish being perfectly cooked and a very tasty sauce. Veal chop was perfectly medium, polenta was good too. My dish was average, mushrooms were good chicken tasted plain.
Shared a creme brulee for dessert(were all stuffed), was one of the better ones we've had.
So 1 bottle of st-pellegrino, 1 glass of wine, 3 apps, 3 mains, 1 dessert, 1 double expresso: about 160 before tax and tip.
Great dinner, would definately go again.
If anyone is wondering what else was on the chalkboard menu when I went, here is what i can remember:
apps: buff mozzarella and tomatoes, some kind of spicy ricotta dish, cold vichyssoise soup, prawn cocktail with aioli.
mains:filet mignon, magret with pepper sauce, sword fish, risotto of italian sausage and spinach.
