I'm going to be spending 8 nights in Murs at the very end of August into Labor Day, and am keen to hear what Chowhounders feel are some of the most wonderful restaurants in the surrounding area (Gordes, Roussillon, Bonnieux, etc.) I think at least half the time I'm just going to shop the markets and cook at home, but we (a group of six) will also want to eat out a couple of times. If there are any particularly special gourmet purveyors of meats, etc., which I should not miss, I'd love to know about those too.
The New York Times highlighted Le Vivier in L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue a while back...is that sill somewhere to be recommended? I would be very grateful for any and all suggestions.
