L.P. Steamer's in Baltimore (trip report)

Thanksgiving weekend we had some of the family in town and on a friend's recommendation, headed to LP Steamers in Bal'more on the following Friday(I learned that the t is supposed to me silent...).

It doesn't look like much from the outside and the first floor only has like five picnic tables. Since there were 16 of us, we weren't sure if we were going to fit. The lady (i think maybe the owner?) told us she would get us set up upstairs. A few minutes later up we went. It was like eating in someone's house. Which I like :)

We ordered slipper tails (which i had never heard of before but they are actually small lobster tails) which were quite good. Also ordered steamed clams - yum! and then we had the crabs. We ordered the regular size ones at $60/dz. and they were great! A few of us in the group had never had to break our own crabs before so it was fun trying to teach people how to do it.

All in all, we had a really enjoyable time at LP Steamers. The food was great, the people were nice and the service was perfect. We will definately go back.
