I read about Studiokitchen in the philadelphia inquirer and it sounded interesting so I went out on a limb and had my birthday dinner there instead of Sagami.
It was like an oasis, my mom was lactose intolorant and my dad was a vegetarian who eats fish but we had the best time. They printed me a birthday menu too.
We had Butter Poached Lobster with parsnip soy milk puree and edamame followed by a crab miso soup with a poached quail egg.Our fish was simply amaaaaazing !!
Black bass roasted with fennel salt and meyer lemon sauce. dessert was fresh ripe berries set in a sweet gerwurztraminer jelly with strawberry rhubarb sorbet.
Outstanding for a dairy free dessert. We are going again in 2 weeks, I cannot wait.
