Recently had dinner there and was the best steak I've had in Ohio. The restaurant is fair sized, well spaced tables, laid with decent linen, china, and silver. The service was midwestern effusive - meaning lots of people asking how the food/service was but in a sincere way - and among the best I have had in Cleveland area.
The food was excellent. I had dinner with a friend, he had a gazpatcho soup appetizer and a tuna steak, I had a strip steak. The steak was nicely seared on the outside and fleshy and tender on the inside - a nice fresh taste and appealing smell. We each had a house salad which was fresh and tasty. The bread was excellent too. We also each had a glass of red wine from their extensive wine list. While neither of us had dessert the offerings looked good from what I saw other people eating.
The other patrons were a mix of business types and couples - didn't see any families or notice any kids. The place is dressy but not formal and the staff make you feel comfortable. The valet parking is mandatory as they have a very tight lot.
I have been to a number of places for business dinners since moving to the area and this place is the best I have found so far - except for one consideration - price. Dinner for two, with two entrees, one appetizer, no drinks, two glasses of wine, and no dessert was $160.00 before tip.
I unhesitatingly recommend the joint though if you can afford it - the food and service are excellent.
I also usually check out a place's website if they have one before taking a client there - they have a pretty decent one for this place.
