Local spot to find a gasket for my stovetop espresso maker?

Kitchen Imp | Nov 8, 2007 08:03 PM

I bought a two-cup stove-top espresso maker years ago at Peet's. They've stopped carrying the little ring (gasket?) that goes between the metal filter and the top half.

Does anyone know where I can get one? They still carry them for the four-cup and six-cup, but not the two-cup. I don't to order them online because the cost of delivery is higher than the gasket itself and anyway I'd rather support local shops.

Edited to add: If anyone knows, PLEASE do take pity on me and clue me in, because Monsieur Kitchen Imp accidentally melted the last gasket and so we're reduced to using the old drip coffeemaker I had stuck in the back of the cabinet for emergencies. Drip coffee is just not the same taste experience... we're chowishly bereft over here!

TIA
