Tried this restaurant over the weekend. Service was ridiculously slow. Not only that, but we had to ask 3 times for menus, 3 times for water, 3 times for missing napkins...the list goes on and on.
After my husband and I ordered a steak which we specifically ordered "rare," our steaks arrived well done (severely well done). While the other couple dining with us ate their dinners, we waited for someone to come back so that we could return our steaks. Finally, we were told it would take 25 minutes to bring us new steaks..."Why don't you have veal cutlet instead?" We opted to wait. Our friends completed their meal, and our steaks arrived. They were made rare this time, but such horrendous quality. It appeared to be a very grizzly, fatty slice of boneless sirloin, which had been cut in half so each of our steaks were a mere 1/4" thick (after we were told by our waitress "these are really thick steaks.")
We were asked if we would like to order dessert, we declined. We had already spent 3 1/2 hours there, waiting mostly. We were not even offered a cup of coffee on the house, for the steak mishap.
When the check arrived, we asked to speak to the owner, to voice our displeasure. The waitress responded with "steaks are expensive you know, and they cooked four (as if it was our fault that the chef overcooked the steak!). We owner arrived some time later and was the rudest man we have ever encountered. He said a few words, would not listen to us, and abruptly said (while flagging us off) "goodnight."
All in all...bad food, horrific service, and an owner who should know this is no way to run a business.
