I'm going to be out in the Carson area for meetings next week, and at least one other attendee has a fondness for good Lebanese food. Any recommendations? While we'll be in the Carson area, I'm sure we'd be able and willing to drive a fair distance if the destination had Lebanese that is worth the trip. Hole in the wall places are fine - we care much more about the food than the ambience.
None of us are locals, so please provide address or directions to help us find your suggested spot.
That said, any special suggestions for the other four nights? My personal tendency is for good ethnic cuisine, or local specialties. I've found that more upscale places, even the ones that are not chains, tend to also be more generic, in the sense that a fancy restaurant of a given "type" (steakhouse, seafood, "gourmet", "fusion") in L.A. is likely to have at least a rough equivalent in other cities - the "Mom and Pop" places tend to have a little more unique character.
What I'm getting at is that if I'm in L.A., I'd rather have chowhound experiences that I'd be unlikely to find here in the Baltimore area.
