Le Charm French Bistro in SOMA-Review

We went to Le Charm last night a thought it was very good. They offer a three course prix fixe with several selections of your choice for $28. At that price it qualified and a very good meal. The portions were nicely done, and the service was excellent. I had the gnocci with wild mushrooms and my wife had the bavette steak in roquefort sauce. The gnocci was done in a casserole style and was very creamy and the mushrooms still had snap to them instead of being baked to a limp consistency. The steak was cooked rare, but had a nice crust to it, and the sauce was not too overpowering. The pommes frites were very good as well. I would not say it is a destination spot, but if you're in the area, by all means, give it a try.
