We had the good fortune to stop here after an appt at the Cleveland clinic last week. This reminds me of my Hungarian Grandma's pastries, albeit with pareve (margarine?). It was a real treat to have the poppy seed coffee cake, the nut rolls and almond croissants. Anybody have any recipes similar to their baked goods they can share? Would love to make up some of this stuff for a dairy kiddush for the Yom Tovim in September. If margarine isn't the key, can you use soy based butter? Any kosher CHounders out there with European style pastry recipes?
