I took beautiful heirloom cherry tomatoes (about 15), cut them in quarters, and then battered a stalk of lemon grass, and poured vodka over to the top.
Rather than the vodka turning red (like I thought it would from the tomato juice), it stayed clear with a touch of orange pink.
I have been serving it with oysters on the half-shell, and its been getting RAVES!
So there you have it: Heirloom Tomato and Lemon Grass Vodka.
