Verdict: Consistent excellence. This marks the beginning of the matsutake mushroom season, and mine was served with buckwheat in a clear broth - Delicious. The shari on the nigiri is fantastic as well.
Great news for all you Shunji fans out there: Shunji-san has informed me that they will start dinner service 7 days a week, including Sundays (but no cooked foods on Sunday nights - sushi only).
Also, they will serve sushi omakase lunch, Mondays through Fridays!
