The £20 3-course sunday roast is not a bad deal.
Lots of flavour in the chicken liver terrine, served with toast points, a sharp salad for an effective acidic counterpoint, and chutney of some sort to sweeten the deal.
Tons of evocative flavour in the lamb, although just two moderate pieces made me want more. Good medley of roasted vegetable (brussels sprouts, parsnips, carrots, potatoes), traditional mint sauce, and extra gravy.
A well made sticky toffee pudding, warm against a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Wish the lamb serving was more generous, but the quality of the flavour and cooking would likely draw me in for dinner at some point.
